Celebrating life today

Today is Celebration of Life Day, a day to honor the gift of children and grandchildren, sponsored by National Children & Family Awareness of America.

I couldn’t find any further information about the sponsor, so I have no idea who they are or what they really do. However, every day is fantastic day to celebrate life, in my opinion.

Children are an inspiration for betterment and advancement. Children are a view into our future and reminder of our past. Every opportunity I have to see the world through the eyes of a child, is a great day for me. Their innocent view and eagerness to explore is a refreshing perspective to any busy grown up day.

My children are my daily dose of joy (even on those not so joyful, overly exhausted days).

The More.. Penguin group
The more, the merrier!

Happy Tuesday!

  1. I LOVE the penguin family!!! It is marvelous! I hope you have it over at your Imagekind Gallery too – I think it would be a perfect Fine Art Print for penguin collectors!

Or for large families and all the work involved in daily life with lots of kids. One of my great aunts had over 10 kids … I cannot remember how many for sure but it was a lot! I can only imagine the work for her … that was before automatic washers and dryers … and laundry for two kids and me was a lot I thought even with having both and not having to hang clothes out on the clothesline.

I nattered on about babysitting last week-end and how I regret not taking any photographs of the boys and the dogs – you can read about it at:
