Tricks n Treats n Spooky Things

Happy Halloween!

Today’s Tuesday’s Topic is all about the Spookilicious fun surrounding the day today. Chat up your blog with thoughts of ghosts and goblins and then come back here and tell us all about it!

My silly contribution for the day… Why Pumpkins are better than men:

1) Every year you get a brand new crop to choose from.

2) No matter what your mood is, pumpkins are always ready to greet you with a smile.

3) One usually makes a better pie.

4) They are always on the doorstep there waiting for you!

5) If you don’t like the way he looks, you just carve up another face.

6) If he starts smelling up your place, you can just throw him out.

7) From the start you know a pumpkin has an empty, mush filled head to begin with.

8) A pumpkin is turned on (lit-up) only when you want him to be.

😀 HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

  1. Thanksgiving to me is a time to be “Thankful” for what I have. Knowing that others have made this possible. I am thankful for the freedom I have, the right to say what I want when I want, I am thankful for being able to make choices. Many people are not even able to vote for their own leader. I can, so I am thankful for that. I am thankful for the variety America has. I love to be able to shop at all the different grocery stores. Yes, they are competition to each other but that is what America is all about. I have a choice. I am thankful for it. We are not bound down to buy the government cheese like some other countries. American is a strong nation with many to thank. So in essence I am thankful to the American Troops. They have provided us with these freedoms. We would not have any choice, rights or happiness without them. They have fought many a war for us and deserve our thanks too. So most of all I am thankful for having them, they volunteered to serve our country. They die for us daily. Our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines. So this year at my thanksgiving table we will give thanks and say a prayer for our Military. They sacrifice all for us.
