Are you a latkes girl?

Chanukah this year is December 11th through December 19th, and although I myself am not Jewish, I have heard wonderful things about the scrumptious food during the holiday season. One in particular I want to try is Latkes. So a few years ago, while talking to my friend Jean over at Rotem Gear, I made special shirt design inspired by her… Latkes Girl.

Now I need to get a hold of some and try them myself! Anyone have a simple recipe I could try?
If you’re looking for more holiday fun, stop by Jean’s blog and try your hand at a chance to win a Got latkes tee!

  1. Hmm, in Israel actually the biggest Hanukkah food are the Sufganiyot, or what some people might think here are the jelly doughnuts, but you can't find anywhere outside of Israel anything close to what the real thing is! And I live in North America for 13 years already… I guess this is why the Latkes got the lead here….

  3. Jean has talked about all kinds of yummy foods, but the latkes seem to be what sticks in my mind the most… What's your favorite holiday food?
