Got the family together and headed down to the Denver Zoo tonight to check out the member premier of the annual Zoo Lights. It was pretty cold, even for this Colorado crowd, but nothing a few extra layers and hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps can’t handle. Everything is lit up with twinkling lights and holiday spirit. We loved it!
My favorite scene from the Denver Zoo lights was near the end of the night… a seascape in magical blue lights with a big blue whale, fancy pink seahorse and even a wiggly purple octopus.
