…I would make every effort to rid the world’s insects of the derogatory moniker “bug”.
I mean, really, we’re not trying to bug you, we have tiny little brains and a bazillion eyes… no logical thinking ability and we can’t see straight. We are just looking for a place to rest and get away from birds. You try flapping your arms 1000 times per second, its exhausting!

I think I’d be a butterfly. They’re transformative, beneficial, and beautiful. And I like the Native American story of their origins.
